Our company Reink Media Group has formally acquired the TraderMike.net domain and website from Michael Seneadza (Mike) and will be taking over all site operations. The deal was finalized last Friday the 21st.
Back in his posting and trading prime (circa several years ago), Mike was one of the most prominent and well known stock bloggers on the internet. A graduate of Stanford University, his daily market recaps and overall market analysis was enjoyed by tens of thousands of investors. The blog was launched in 2003 and currently Mike boasts an RSS Readership of over 8,000 traders and has been featured on numerous blogs and media outlets such as Howard Lindzon’s StockTwits.
About the Deal
Over the last few years Mike became busy with other ventures and slowly over time was not able to post as often as he used to. While Mike is still a fantastic trader, it was no longer in his best interest to run the site anymore.
Being a big fan of Mike’s blog and having been in touch with mike over the last several years, I felt very strongly that I would be a good candidate to take over the site and re-spark its flames. Our trading philosophies and analysis are very similar in form and overall it made sense to work out a deal.
Serious discussions regarding the site started taking place towards the end of 2010, and we hashed out a win-win agreement just two weeks ago. Knowing how much Mike put into the site, it is an both an honor and an exciting opportunity to be able to take over the reigns.
The future of TraderMike.net
The first goal will be to poll the readers and gauge feedback on what they loved most about tradermike.net and what content they would like to see moving forward. The domain will also remain active under the TraderMike name.
Mike’s bio will forever be featured on the site and he has expressed interest to stop in from time to time to write a guest article. I hope we see him posting often. Lastly, readers will still be able to reach Mike through his regular email, Michael – AT – TraderMike – dot – net or @TraderMike on Twitter.
