(Please note this will be the last post for the week. Market recaps will resume Monday the 28th. Thursday the market is closed and Friday the market closes early at 1:00 PM EST. For all those celebrating, have a fantastic Turkey day!)
Light volume and little movement today. Perhaps thoughts of turkey, pumpkin pie, and family are to blame.
After the close it was announced that the Fed is putting together plans (WSJ) for new bank stress tests. ZeroHedge has the best summary on the matter. S&P 500 futures are pointing to an open down to around 1180 at the moment but the consensus seems to be this will force US banks to raise more cash to offset exposure to Europe.
Other than that not much to report so have a great Thanksgiving and I will see you back here (stuffed with food) next week 😎 .
